August 22nd, 2007 Minutes - 8/25/2007 DCUSA Minutes August 22nd, 2007 6:00pm Davidson Academy Attendance: Chad Killebrew, Lynn Gobble, Dan Adams, Jeannie Belk, Scott Walser, Ann Beck, Jamey Ballew Voting Booster Clubs-Scott Walser-Davis Townsend, Ann Beck-Churchland, Jamey Ballew-Churchland, Jeannie Belk-Davidson Academy Unfinished Business Field Supervisors-The following was discussed and agreed upon by all booster clubs. 1.They must be an Adult. 2.They must put out and take in Goals, Flags, Pads (where applicable), Water Jugs (where applicable). They are responsible for getting the field ready to have games played on. 3.Be Accessible-before the games start, identify yourself to the officials and coaches. 4.Have a cell phone and know the address of the location that you are supervising. 5.Keep the parents/spectators on the sidelines, not behind the goals. 6.Pick up trash 7.Collecting the match reports at the end of the games. Each booster club needs to send a list of names to Jeannie Belk of the supervising parents/adults for those days’ events. (For all fields) Discussion on subs for the following age groups took place. U6-Changing the sub rules to only allow subs on the quarters. One coach per team is allowed on the field but out of the 18 box. U8-Changing the sub rules to only allow subs on the quarters. No coaches are allowed on the field starting with this age level. U10-Changing the sub rules to allow subs on the possession of the throw in. Meaning the team that has possession of the ball at the throw in make sub. Either team can sub on Goal Kicks. Subs shall only take place with the Referees permission. Cards may be given at the level of play. U12- Changing the sub rules to allow subs on the possession of the throw in. Meaning the team that has possession of the ball at the throw in make sub. Either team can sub on Goal Kicks. Subs shall only take place with the Referees permission. Cards may be given at the level of play. U8 and above, one coach can run the entire length of the line. The other coaches must remain in the bench area. Motion I Jeannie Belk made the follow motion: to accept all changes stated previously, in the Rec Rules Program. Jamey Ballew seconded the motion Vote: Unanimous Meeting was adjourned at 7:21 Next Meeting September 5th Coaches Meeting at 6:00 at Davidson Academy.
