Called to order at 6:40pm at WynnCom offices
Attendees: Jimmy Wynn-President, Chad Killebrew-Vice President, Lynn Gobble-Secretary, Chad Hench-U11 Boys Coach and Coaching Coordinator, Tim Dezego-TCL Liason and U12 Boys Coach, Donna Myers-U10 Girls Coach, Todd and Michelle Young-U11 Asst Coach and Manager, Jeannie Belk-Recreational Coordinator, Dave Strenk-U14 Girls Coach, Chris Brown-Coaching Coordinator, Ed Mahoney-Registrar, U13 Boys Coach, Scott Semonoco-U12 Girls Coach, Mitch Swicegood-U14 Boys Coach and special guest Anne Beck Rec. Coach.
Introductions were made and officers identified to all.
President Jimmy Wynn passed along the compliments given to DCUSA on conduct and coaching skills from NCYSA and Keith Price.

Recap of fall season….Gender specific teams turned out to be a huge success. U8 will now have goal keepers in the goal.
Rec/Challeng:
Field discussion for practices-Reeds will not be ready for est. 1 year.
Jeanette field contains 3 practice fields. Fields are not in favorable conditions due to the weather and the amount of teams that have currently been practicing on them. Due to the fact Reeds has been unavailable. Gravel will be hauled in to repair the road and the entrance way into the fields as well as the parking area.
Challenge:
Tyro Middle school has approved the use of their fields for U13 and above Challenge games. We will need to supply the goals. Working on a solution with Davidson Academy to use their goals at Tyro.
Practice Schedule discussed is as follow:
U12 Boys Lex Middle School
U13 Boys Bethany 6:30-8:00 Monday and Thursdays
U10 Girls Beck Luthern Sunday 3:00-4:30-Still needs a weekday practice
U14 Girls Possibly Lex Middle with U12 Boys
Pre-Game procedures discussed for supplying the referees with completed information.
Match reports-filled out with team info and time and location.
Player Passes-No Pass no Play.
Coaches must have passes along with Managers.
Match rosters to be given to referees-in most cases will not be given back.
Payment to be made to the officials in pre-game.
Post-Game-Sign match report once completed by the referee.
Only team personnel that are carded to be with team during game.
Dan also sent suggestions that we use line refs on U10 Games to help train our new officials. Discussions on this concluded that they can be assigned but not paid.
Rainout games are to be rescheduled within 1 week of cancellation. Only the reschedule is to be made, not playing the actual game. Everyone must email Tim Dezego of intentions/reschedule so he can notify TCL.
If no referees show up to do your game. The game must be played. One coach may ref 1 half and the opposing coach will ref the second half or an agreed upon solution between the coaches as long as the game is played. If you do not play the game it will be recorded as a double forfeit.
This year U13 coaches and above need to carry a D License.
Tryouts
Tenative dates have been selected for Challenge League tryouts: May 27th and May 29th.
A $10.00 Registration fee was discussed for tryouts. Which will include a tee shirt with number on the back and DCUSA logo on the front. Registration forms and Release forms will be offered on the website.

Soccer Ops-Foot Skills
Jimmy met with Scott about working with DCUSA to improve skills. More discuss and information to follow.
Offers from British Soccer Camp and Peter Broadly for team soccer camp at the end of summer. Dan getting a proposal from Peter.
DCUSA is proud that we have 3 of our county High School Coaches on it's board of Directors. We feel that this is a true testament to the direction that we are headed.
