Recreation Meeting, April 15th 2008
6:00 at Wynncom Offices
Attendees: Executive Board: Jimmy Wynn-President, Lynn Gobble-Secretary, Angie Gray-Treasurer
Rec Board: Jeannie Belk-Rec Liason, Mark Temple-Reeds Rep, Ann Beck-Churchland Rep, Jamey Ballew-Churchland Rep, Jo Black-Churchland Rep, Cheryl Walser-Davis Townsend Rep, Chris Brown-DOC
Called to order promptly at 6:00pm.
Open Discussion
I. Rescheduling Issues
a) Rain Dates
1. Jeannie is currently working on getting this done.
b) PBL
1.School event that games need to be rescheduled.
c) School functions and rain outs
1. These are the only acceptable cancellations for games.
II. Boundary Issues
a) Players playing out of their school district without permission.
1. If a player is from district “A” then he/she should be playing with district “A”.
2. EXCEPTION-If a players parent wants to move due to issues at their current residing Booster Club. Then a “Player Status Form” will need to be filled out, with explanation. The Booster Club will be given the chance to rectify the issue, if nothing can be resolved then the transfer will be granted. “Player Status Form” is on the the website under Coaches Corner.
III. Davis Townsend player issues
a) U10 Team
1. This team only has 1 sub. Permission from all booster clubs has been given for them to pull up 2 U8 players to given them ample subs. When games are not conflicting.
Motion I (4/15/08)
Jeannie Belk made the motion that only coaching staff will be allowed with team during games. No parents. Parents need to be on the opposite side from team.

Vote: Unanimous
Motion II (4/15/08)
Ann Beck made the motion to develop a transfer form/written consent form so that both organized teams can sign and release a child from a team.
Mark Temple seconded the Motion
Vote: Unanimous
Motion III (4/15/08)
Mark Temple made the motion that a uniformed sign up should be held for all DCUSA Rec Clubs. With sign up forms being the same.
Ann Beck seconded the Motion
Vote: Unanimous

Uniformed Rec Fees.
