Topics of Interest: Rec season dates and Invitational Rec Tournament

 

Start date March 21^st, 2009

Projected ending date-May 9^th

Weekends up to May 23^rd for Rain dates.

 

There will be an end of the year tournament in the spring for U8 and U10 giving them 10 games. U6 will have 10 games with the final 2 games being a round robbin tournament.

 

April 4^th Baseball Tournament for Churchland

April 22^nd West Davidson Community Night

May 19, 20, 21^st End of Grade testing.

 

Announcing a new addition to DCUSA’s Recreation Division. DCUSA Mighty Mites Division.

 

This new division will be for U4 and below. 4V4 with parents. Playing quarters. Fees will be 50.00 per season. Each team will receive a Tee-Shirt. No referees will officiate these games. Games to be held tentatively at Tyro Middle.

 

Mark Temple made a motion for DCUSA Mighty Mites Division to be implemented spring season 2009.

Ann Beck made a motion that at Kick Off at U6, U8 and U10 age groups, they will all be Indirect Free Kicks.

Tournament to be held May 17^th (Sunday). Invitations sent out to surrounding areas. No team fees will be charged.

 

NCYSA to help with training sessions, get in touch with Mike at Soccer Unlimited about setting up a booth. DCUSA to set up a booth. Local vendors to come and set up booths to generate money. Tournament site tentatively Churchland athletic park. Concessions, restrooms and plenty of field space.

 

Ann Beck mad a motion to hold a Invitational Rec Tournament on May 17^th.
