DOC-Director of Coaching
Currently we have 2-Tim Dezego and Chris Brown.
They are available to help you with coaching techniques with your team, Rec or Challenge. They are also available to help with any turmoil that may arise within your team. They are there to step in and help.

From now on going forward persons that are wanting to become a head coach of a Challenge team will be interviewed by the DOC’s. The head coaches can choose the assistant coaches upon their discretion. If there becomes an issue then the DOC’s will step in. DCUSA’s main concern is giving the kids the best possible experience in soccer that we can.

Speed Clinic-Late June or early July. To be held by Paul Uliana, more info to come.  FREE

Open Discussion
Jimmy Newbee-Jeanette field is terrible. Cars are being stuck in the mud. Can there be anything done. Alan to look in to this.

Whitley Field-has some field issues. Some holes and field wearing that could possibly be dangerous. Suggested that sand be brought in to help fill in holes. These fields are used heavily by the rec leagues and damage to them is hard to mend during the season. This field is also rented, suggestion that the owners help in the repairs to make it safe. Butterfield to bring up and discuss at Southwood’s next meeting to discuss.

Butterfield-What are the repercussions and advantages to charging $1.00 at Whitley field? This will help raise revenue for Southwood Boosters-positive.  Could be issues with only 1 booster club charging for entry-negative. Suggestion from the attendees would be don’t do it. Butterfield will bring up at Southwoods next meeting to discuss.

Tim-You only have to mail in match reports if there are issues (cards, comments). Otherwise you do not have to mail these in. Please post score prior to the end of the weekend.

South Davidson will be attending the Rec meeting on Monday at Wynncom.

Next meeting will be held March 16 2010 at the YMCA.

Meeting Adjourned 8:45pm
